Set the rope against the corduroy
Choose rope color and material with its diameter, twist, route and end attachment specified. Compare the rope to the actual Champagne shade and corduroy wale direction, checking how the detail sits beside the curved bill and proposed artwork.
Proof embroidery on the pile
Select machine or 3D embroidery with thread colors, dimensions and raised height where applicable. Inspect stitch coverage, backing and pile compression on the actual corduroy, allowing clearance around panel joins and the rope rather than approving artwork in isolation.
- Confirm polyester/cotton proportions for the corduroy and other components.
- Approve wale size, pile height, thickness and finish on the selected sample.

Keep texture and hardware in the care plan
Trial the cap for the intended sports or casual outdoor setting and season, obtaining required performance evidence. Agree cleaning and drying instructions that suit the corduroy pile, rope, selected embroidery and buckle finish.
