Specify broadcloth and its internal support
Confirm polyester percentages by component, broadcloth weave and thickness, finish and any coating or laminate. Request lining, band, front backing and support details with the actual fabric placement by component.
Approve holes and rope on the selected color
Record laser-hole locations, dimensions and edge finish on the complete White or Army Green cap. Set rope material, shade, thickness, position and attachment alongside the intended front thread colors.
Place embroidery on the actual front seams
Define logo dimensions, thread shades, relief, stitch coverage, backing and front-panel location for the selected machine or 3D method. Inspect the actual surface and seams, then agree inclusion, any animal/other pattern and fitted button, or plain supply.
Measure buckle fit and bill shape
Identify the rear buckle and strap mechanism and record adult circumference, usable span, retention and crown depth. Measure bill width and projection and approve actual curvature and firmness with the rope and artwork in place.
Match waterproof tests and care to broadcloth
For required waterproof performance, obtain methods, conditions and results identifying actual broadcloth finish, holes, seams, rope and embroidery attachments. Agree cleaning, drying and fabric/thread color care appropriate to the approved components.
