Approve a complete fabric recipe for the structured shape
Specify actual cotton, wool and any blended fibre content by component. Confirm the selected lace, felt, checked or dobby construction and review front support, crown depth, brim dimensions, internal band and any lining.
Keep the approved fabric build with the selected colour and artwork. The sample should show the completed structured shape before its custom dimensions or adjustment are finalized.
Choose embroidery and print routes on the actual substrate
Trial 3D, affixed-cloth, flocking, hand or machine embroidery with the proposed artwork. Confirm digital, flock, foil, glitter or embossed decoration separately before approving the selected combination.
- Set artwork dimensions for front, side, rear or brim placement.
- Approve thread or print colours against the selected cap shade.
- Inspect embroidery backing and the finished interior surface.
- Specify any applique, bow, button or chain material and fixing.
- Review the complete decorated sample with the actual fabric components.
Measure adult fit and confirm winter-use conditions
Define the required custom dimensions or trial adjustable fit around the proposed 58–60 cm circumference. Confirm the actual rear adjustment mechanism and assess comfort and coverage on the intended adult wearer.
For winter or outdoor use, obtain the required thermal, weather or sun-protection evidence. Request complete fabric, fastening and decoration care and check the proposed cleaning method against the approved construction.
