Measure the visor on the wearer
Establish how the 58–60cm (22.83–23.62in) circumference reference applies to the requested size, including method and tolerance. Inspect the actual rear mechanism and retention, then assess visor projection, width, curvature and band height for the desired coverage and sightline.
Coordinate cotton and contact surfaces
Confirm cotton content across the selected components and inspect fabric structure, thickness and finish. Review visor stiffness, support, band construction and lining on the completed sample, including the areas that touch the forehead and the chosen fit mechanism.
Choose a solid or striped artwork plan

Confirm the intended sun-use conditions
Evaluate the chosen visor in the intended season and outdoor setting. Obtain required UV/UPF, coverage, airflow, drying or weather evidence before relying on those properties for the finished design.
